Bought this at the Miami boat show on the recommendation of a coast guard buddy. Passed my inspection, and inspector loved it. I told him it was half an size and price of similar items, and usa made, he said he's getting one too!

Really got tired of my Flares going out dated every few years. I have a pile of out dated flares in my bag now as I don't know what to do as well as a out dated flare gun. I'll use the out dated flares in any emergency and keep this electronic flare for the Coast Guard requirement.

Bought this at a boat show. Great value, small size, Made in USA. Can't beat it. Clear instructions in the box. Works great on my boat hook. Lots of competitor's proxy buy one-star reviews because they're terrified of the lower price of our Made in USA product, compared to their Chinese import copy.

I bought this to replace another electronic flare. This one is much smaller and brighter than my old one, much easier to store it aboard our 25' boat. I really like that it is made in the US, too.
