Scott started Tektite in his garage in 1990. In 27 short years, he’s built the company into a manufacturing powerhouse as a vertically integrated manufacturing company of specialty portable lighting products incorporating leading edge technology. He also serves as our chief designer, driving Research and Development with new and innovative products.
Scott’s professional background includes starting and running several retail and consulting businesses. He has served in administrative and management positions at Warner-Lambert Pharmaceuticals, Playboy International Hotels, and as an Instructor Consultant at Princeton University. He has been the recipient of Export, Entrepreneurship, and Community support awards. He currently serves on several Non-Profit and Community Boards as well as holding a County-level elected office.
Scott studied engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology with Business Management at Seton Hall University and Upsala College.
