Nice bright strobe.Handy for catching a visual on the anchor line, especially in the murky North Atlantic.Good size for sticking in a pocket.

Attached this flasher to my anchor line or a mooring buoy line during scuba trips on Puget Sound and Straits of Juan de Fuca, Washington State.Not as bright as I would like but was always helpful relocating the boat even with less than 10ft visibility.Attached to the line with either "ball bungees" or the large size fishing style safety pins used on crab pots.

Got this to use when kayaking. Recently did a night kayaking trip and get a chance to put it through its paces. The handle is a nice diameter. Easy to grip without being too big or too small. Turning the head tight against the battery handle turns the light on, either constant or strobe. Twist the head off, then twist it on again and the other function comes on. Very easy, very intuitive. I used the constant on function early in the night. Later didn't need it under the full moon but I just had to try the strobe function. VERY bright and would certainly help locate me in an emergency. Batteries are easily purchased at any food or drug store. This is one of those items you hope you never need but it remains clipped to my PFD for those 'just in case' moments. Glad I have it.
